Safety Barriers for Smoke Control

At the time of causing a fire, the norm reflects the need to create smoke deposits in order to concentrate it in areas that allow evacuation quickly and safely.

In order to create such deposits, this type of solution used is composed of a fabric barrier made of continuous fiberglass filament, chemically interwoven and smoke-proof.

It can be a fixed solution, anchored either horizontally or laterally to the wall, or of an automatic type, which has an added value: an automatic electrical connection to the fire panel. This creates a positive safety system, which causes the automatic and controlled descent of the safety barrier, once the corresponding fire detection signal is produced. A particular area is thus delimited, allowing the smoke to concentrate inside.
